Our History

Our History

Let's go back to the 19th century and tell our story. There is a verbal legend that in the 70s of the 19th century 9 brothers Gamtkitsulashvili lived in the village of Napareuli. They made wine from qvevri and cultivated the land.

The tradition of making wine has been passed down from generation to generation. For the first time, the sons of the brothers, Firuza, Giorgi and Iosebi, took over this business. The next was Firuza’s son - Valiko and finally In the 90s, the twins Gela and Gia founded the Twin Wine House.

Gia and Gela Gamtkitstulashvili have studied the production of Qvevri and Qvevri wine at a scientific level. That is why many awards and recognitions are credited to the name of the brand. The main niche of the company is wine aged in qvevri in the traditional way.

Today, Twins Winery produces about 250,000 liters of wine per year and offers customers a variety of wines made from selected varieties. Our wine can be tasted both in Georgia and abroad.
